Whenever God wants to do something new, in a city, amongst people, or in the world, He must always send someone (His Representative) from the OUTSIDE within, to expose, pioneer and disrupt, in order for the people to be transformed, to initiate change and the one(s) being sent must be from OUTSIDE (Eden or The Piedmont Triad Region) the systems of men, problems or land (region) because those that live (born) WITHIN, are part of the problem and CANNOT initiate the change!
Systems of Men: Can represent or be Religion, Tradition, Doctrine, Dogma, Racism, Denominationalism, (Hidden) Political Agenda a City, a Good-Old Boys Group and or the Recognized or Socially Accepted Norm or those that have been otherwise chosen or selected by their Peers or by a Majority Vote, but when God wants to initiate a change he DOES NOT NEED nor does He want your (man’s) approval, so he bypasses the Systems of Men, especially Organized Religion!
Albert Einstein, said “that the level of thinking that got you into a thing, is not sufficient to get you out,” in other words you DO NOT have the power, wisdom or ability to change your own situation, circumstances or life!
Hi, we are Dr.’s Craig and Darlene Ponder, the Directors and Founders of Eden Economic Development Center, and we would like to thank you for visiting our “Getting to Know Us” and our “2026 Vision” and "Information page."
Definition of Our Name Ponder:
Ponder: Our name (nature) Ponder means to make you think strategically on purpose until you change, your Finances, Family and Future!
It is not enough just to be able to think outside of the box, you must also know how to act (live) outside of the box!
Box: Religion, Tradition, Culture, Racism, Average and Middle-class
On January 20, 2025, as I watched and witnessed the Presidential Inauguration, I had an encounter with God, and then God spoke to me and said, “Eden, I want you to take Paradise (the Spiritual) to Eden (the Natural)” and that night when I went to bed, I had a dream and God told me to go buy the historic home and move to Eden, NC, and when I awoke I shared this dream with my wife, and the next day we met with our relator, Tracy.
We were moving into The Piedmont Triad Region, to plant our new school location since relocating from California, because it is a hub for education.
Durning the 3 months of searching for a historic home, every realtor that we spoke with told us to, “Avoid and Stay Away from Eden, NC whatever you do, because it is not a progressive city and is in a fallen state because many factories have closed and it is just a shell of what it once was and not many Upper-class people reside there.”
On January 23, our offer was accepted, and we closed escrow on March 13, 2025.
We purchased a 125-year-old historic home near historic downtown Eden, and we immediately began the restoration, renovations and repairs necessary to bring this beautiful home back to life, including both interior and exterior painting, months of cleaning out the pool and chemical treatments, cleaning up the yard, trimming trees, removing years of leaves, landscaping, grading, installing an automatic irrigation system and planting a beautiful new lawn.
Over the past 11 years we have purchased and owned 11 homes, some were million-dollar homes, a high-rise condo in beautiful downtown San Diego, overlooking the water, a Lake house in Lake Arrowhead, CA, a beautiful Modern Home in a gated community in Las Vegas, NV and a custom-built home (Villa) in the foothills near Redlands, CA.
But there was and still is something very special about this home in Eden, NC, it was as if God had it especially reserved and just waiting for us, and we had never had this feeling, connection or sensation from any other home that we had previously owned.
This home, this territory and these people (Edenites), is where God has sent us to change the world, make history and to set up our national headquarters for our Family, Ministry, School and Non-Profit so that we can fulfill our:

Important Note:
Since Moving to Eden, NC
When we attempted to do business with the locals, we immediately noticed, encountered and experienced the poor quality of professionalism, irresponsibleness and lack of communication, as we began the work on our home, we soon discovered that not only were there not enough small businesses owners, but very few reputable and dependable self-employed small businesses in Eden and many others that had moved to Eden had the same negative experience that we did.
There seems to be basically two types of citizens: The haves and the have nots.
Most of the citizens do not take pride in their yards, lawns or how their property looks.
The churches, Senior Pastors, City or Non-Profits (Organizations) do not offer advanced programs, training or classes for business, homeownership, finances, entrepreneurism or on personal development, especially for Teenagers, Young Adults or Lower-class people.
Most of all of the new people that moved here within the last 5 years that we met only came to Eden or Rockingham County, because it was cheap and not to improve the area economically or socially.
We also noticed if someone gave you their word and did not keep it or did not show up on time, it wasn’t a big deal to them, and we were supposed to be ok with this dysfunction.
We also discovered that the largest church in the city of Eden DOES NOT believe in women being called to ministry or as a Pastor and every time someone mentioned this big church to us, there were always these three common denominators: 1.) It’s the largest church, 2.) It is a cult and 3.) They never honored or called him Pastor, but by his first name only.
Living in the Historic District of Eden, we noticed that the residents of Eden, drive entirely too fast, are too impatient and very very aggressive drivers, and the speed limit is only 35 MPH, but yet most drive between 45-60 MPH. (will post a live web cam soon)
When we first moved to Eden, everyone asked us what we did, who we were and where we came from, and once we began to share our dream, goals and vision, they all said the same thing, “But why Eden?” and our response was always, “But WHY NOT EDEN?” as if no good, could take place in Eden.
A lot of the adult men that were either born here, that survived drugs, economic downturns and factory closures had no real significant life achievements, big future dreams and lacked a high quality of character. At first, we thought that they were simply just a product of their environment.
PTP – Point To Ponder: I know that this seems like a lot, but it is really important for you to understand what we have seen, witnessed and experienced as an OUTSIDER moving into Eden, when all of your Parents, Pastors and Politicians who were more than likely born here or have lived here so long, are ok with things just being ok, why, because this is Eden.
Biblical Viewpoint: One day Christ (Outside the Jewish System) showed up at church (Synagogue) and a man was there with a withered hand (he had no ability to change his own situation). And those (Leaders / Pastors) that where (from) the church, system and city (WITHIN) watched Jesus, only to see if He would heal him (change and improve his situation) on the Sabbath, so that they might judge or find fault with Him, for disobeying the law on the Sabbath, why because they were so comfortable with their Religion, Politics, Culture, and they were more than ok with their brethren, church member and citizen of their community being in that position, that they cared more about themselves, their religion, traditions, politics and racial differences, then his improvement or opportunity for transformation. (Matthew 12: 19-14)
PTP – Point To Ponder: In the midst of chaos, compromise or problems, religion has NO POWER to bring transformation! This was also proven, witnessed and a reality during the COVID-19 Pandemic!
Eden, NC and The Piedmont Triad Region should be symbolic of what Heaven looks like on earth, and not have any resemblance to the Wilderness, Generational Curses or Poverty!
PTP – Point To Ponder: We moved to the South thinking that this was the “Bible Belt?”
At first my wife and I became frustrated, disappointed and then a righteous anger a rose upon both of us, but then God through these encounters began to show us the spirit(s), principalities and the spiritual enemies behind this diabolical plan over the City of Eden, NC and The Piedmont Triad Region.
The men ARE NOT a product of their environment, as we previously thought, God then showed us, that not only the men, but the families and this city, has been abandoned by their Parents, the Senior Pastors and the Politicians and this is the reason why Eden, NC has no resemblance to heaven on earth!
PTP – Point To Ponder: Whenever you see abandoned homes, junk, trash, clutter and unkept homes, yards or property (hoarding), it is always an outward natural sign of an inward spiritual (soulish) condition, because unclean spirts, poverty and curses love to attach itself where there is no Spirt of Excellence, Power and Deliverance!
Remember this, demons or unclean spirits hide where they are safe and WILL NOT be cast out!
When God told us to move to Eden, NC we told our realtor Tracy, “that we have not lost our minds, we know that the odds are stacked against us, but what makes a city great, IS NOT the Pastors or Politicians, BUT IT IS THE PEOPLE!”
So together if we can help bring Progress, Purpose and Prosperity to the people, City and The Piedmont Trian Region, then sign us up!
PTP – Point To Ponder: Remember On January 20, 2025, during the Presidential Inauguration, when I had that encounter with God, and He said to me, “to take the Spiritual (SUPER-NATURAL Formula for Natural Success) to Eden (the Natural),” and this was before we had ever seen the City of Eden, the People or had ever stepped foot on this land (city).
The one thing that is evident, when my wife and I are out in the community talking, doing life and discussing "real life issues," it is the people of Eden and The Piedmont Triad Region, that we encounter, they are amazing, hopeful and very good people, especially the women , young adults and business owners that we meet.
God, wants to restore the:
Men!
Marriages!
Their Money!
We believe that God will use, anoint and empower the Women, Millennials / Gen. Z and the New Residents that relocate to Eden, NC and The Piedmont Triad Region to be the catalyst to initiate this transformation!
Biblical Viewpoint: We want to quickly share a story with you in the bible, and it says that the people of Capernaum (Eden, NC and The Piedmont Triad Region.) were sitting in darkness (no hope, no future and no dreams) that is, until Jesus (from OUTSIDE) showed up into the territory, region and city (WITHIN) and the moment He arrived light (Revelation, Present-Day Truth and the Right Mindset) came, and He Immediately bypassed the Church, Religious System and Political Agenda of His day and said to the people, “change your mindset, your commitment and the (old) direction that has not been working for you for years and follow me into the Kingdom of God!” That is what true repentance really means, to change your mindset and the old (wrong) direction that you have been going! (Matthew 4:16-18)
We are not perfect people or without our own problems in life, business and marriage, but we are hopeful, determined, qualified, seasoned, tested, called, chosen and sent by God to bring change, transformation and upgrade, so that we can improve the quality life for this generation!
We ARE NOT running for any political office or trying to start another church or social group.
Our Family is wanting to launch a new "KLBU School Campus," an "African American Statistical Improvement Life Achievement Program" and to start an "Economic Development Center" in The Piedmont Triad Region and we need your help.

Prophet Dr. Darlene Y. Ponder, CKC, CKT
Dr. Darlene Ponder, is an ordained Prophet and Pastor, and she has a Doctorate of Ministry (D. Min) in Biblical Studies and holds two professional designations, as a Certified Kingdom Teacher (CKT) and a Certified Kingdom Coach (CKC). She is also the President of both Kingdom Leadership Business University (KLBU) and Kingdom Generation International, Inc. (KGI) which is a 501(c)3 Kingdom Community and Spiritual Family (Ekklesia).
Prophet Darlene’s mandate is imparting how to enjoy “Kingdom Living,” understanding your power, authority and influence through the infilling of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that you too can have it all and live Heaven on Earth! She states, “It's not a religion, but knowing your role and your rights in the Kingdom of God for your family.”
Prophet Darlene is a powerful intercessor and is just as beautiful inside as she is on the outside and operates in a greater degree of discernment than most. It was because of her faith, prophetic decrees and powerful prayers that led to the immediate salvation, deliverance and calling of her husband, Apostle Dr. Craig, over 38 years ago.

They believe and teach, that being both in business and in ministry successfully at the same time, is called “Living in the Kingdom of God, through the Royal Priesthood as a Kingdom-Preneur!”
Unlike most of all Senior Pastors, who ABANDONED the Marketplace for Fulltime Ministry, God gave Apostle Dr. Craig and Prophet Dr. Darlene a direct revelation from the beginning in 1987, on the Royal Priesthood, and how to Reclaim their Royal Birthright as the Son and Daughter of God, Answer A Kingdom Call, So that they could possess the King-Priest Paradigm, as Kingdom-Preneurs, and Dominate in their Marketplace Mandate As God’s Royal Gatekeeper through their Sphere of Influence.
